In one of the most iconic districts of Lisbon, Graça, there is a route that allows you to meet some of the best Portuguese authors.
In a series of murals and other artistic interventions in the walls of the neighborhood, a group of artists painted a beautiful homage to writers such as Natália Correia, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, Florbela Espanca or Angelina Vidal, which had some kind of relationship with the Graça district.
The group of urban artists, coordinated by the, EBANOCollective (and which include Eime, Leonor Brilha, Lorenzo Bordonaro, Mariana Diaz Coutinho, MrDheo, Pariz and Violante), wanted to celebrate these literary figures and highlight the architectural heritage of the neighborhood.
The project was supports by the Lisbon’s Municipal Hall, the São Vicente parish and Lisbon’s Urban Art Gallery.
It is the place to discover Portuguese authors and to know a little bit how their life in Lisbon was, and how it influenced their works.
